Puffco

Puffco was founded in 2013 by Roger Volodarsky in Los Angeles with a mission to make concentrate consumption more accessible, consistent, and enjoyable. The traditional dab rig — a glass water pipe heated with a butane torch — was intimidating, imprecise, and potentially dangerous. Puffco set out to change that.

The original Puffco Plus, a portable concentrate vaporizer, launched in 2014 and immediately found an audience among concentrate enthusiasts who wanted a cleaner, more controlled experience. But it was the Puffco Peak, launched in 2018, that truly disrupted the market.

The Peak was the first electronic dab rig to combine the water filtration of a traditional rig with electronic temperature control. It eliminated the torch, delivered consistent temperatures, and made dabbing accessible to a much wider audience. The Peak Pro, launched in 2020, added app connectivity, real-time temperature control, and a 3D chamber that dramatically improved vapor quality.

Puffco has since expanded into the Proxy (a modular pipe system), the Hot Knife (an electric dab tool), and various accessories. Their products are sold in cannabis dispensaries, smoke shops, and online retailers in every legal state and internationally.
